The Junior League of Arlington was formed in 1975 by a group of women committed to their community. This video features the current president and two past presidents, discussing why the Junior League is a vital force in Arlington.

The VIBE was there at the 2010 St Patrick’s Day celebration
at J. Gilligan’s, 400 West Abram St.
We talked with happy customers, busy waitresses, owner Randy Ford, and the ledgendary Hill City Band. Mike Smith’s band Morning People have also performed at Gilligan’s on St Patrick’s Day as a regular for many years.

VIBE sports anchor Cole Wade visited the 2010 Optimist Club Baseball Kick-Off event and parade with president Raul Gonzalez. City councilman Mel LeBlanc threw the season’s 1st pitch. There were lots of happy kids, parents, and fans, including Texas Rangers mascot Rangers Captain.
